For nearly 20 years, Coby Baker has been an influential and successful leader in the mortgage industry and business community. After starting a management firm out of high school, Coby began working on methods for helping professionals obtain the essential skills required for creating effective personal business strategies. Taking his years of experience assisting small business owners achieve their dreams, Coby moved from Salt Lake City, UT to Las Vegas, NV and founded Alderus Mortgage in 2003. Since moving to Nevada, Coby has made a name for himself as one of the top minds in the mortgage industry and has personally helped hundreds of professionals achieve both personal and financial success. In 2015 Alderus was named one of the Top 100 mortgage employers in America as well as one of the Top Companies in Nevada on the 2015 Inc. 5000, showcasing the fastest-growing private companies in America.

Speaking and teaching at countless industry events over the past decade, Coby continues to demonstrate his passion for helping people reach their true potential by sharing his knowledge. With his wealth of experience and expertise being heard by more than 1,000 loan officers and real estate professionals, Coby strives to help those around him see what they are truly capable of achieving. As the current president of the Nevada Mortgage Lenders Association, Coby aims to further the education and professional interests of mortgage lenders across the state. In addition to educating loan officers and mortgage companies on best practices, Coby is an active member of his local community and regularly volunteers at the Las Vegas Humane Society.
